First Introduction Session

• • We held our first Introduction to AI Governance program. During one week of our 5-week reading and discussion program, which we developed using the most current resources on AI governance, we were joined by guest AI Governance Researcher Sarah Weiler. Our program, which we modeled after Bluedot Impact’s program of the same name and aimed to make more focused and up-to-date, received nearly double the applications for the spots we had available. Some of our participants, who gave the program very positive reviews, went on to gain admission into Bluedot Impact’s own programs, launched projects like airiskindex.com, and organized large-scale reading groups on AI safety.
